Hi and welcome back to Pencils & Stories!

I took a little break in January. In the last quarter of 2018 I was hit with a lot of work and a row of medical issues. I spend the last month being very tired and in pain.

I wanted to start the new year with a bunch of videos and had all kinds of plans to improve my recording and video editing, but I just overwhelmed myself.

The medical stuff isn’t over yet, but I have been able to simplify my workflow for the videos some more again so I could at least start posting videos again in February.

This month’s theme is “visual storytelling.”

You might have heard about this phrase before, but what does it actually mean? And how can we use it to our advantage in our stories?

In this week’s video I talk about what visual storytelling is, how it’s used and I share a good example of visual storytelling I came across.

Watch it here:

I would love to know what questions you have about visual storytelling.

Please let me know in the comments below (here on the site, or on Youtube!)
