Hello readers!

Here are the creative prompts I posted in May. I hope these ideas will inspire a warm-up, sketch, illustration, painting, sculpture or whatever you like to make! Feel free to also use these to come up with your own ideas.

May 1st: Pick two of your favourite animals and mash them together as a new one.

May 4th: Design a chandelier for a ghosthouse.
May 5th: Paint or draw the floor of a unicorn factory.
May 6th: What does a “digital bird” look like?
May 7th: Design the sword of a fantasy creature.
May 8th: What does the sky look like in a world with the theme “fluorescent”?

May 11th: Design a character that’s afraid of the light. The “why” should be clear in the design.
May 12th: What kind of plant eats little birds? Design it.
May 13th: Draw two characters who normally wouldn’t get along in a forbidden friendship or romance.
May 14th: What does pirate island Tortuga look like if it was inhabited by only children?
May 15th: Design an umbrella for an ogre against flying pitch forks.

May 18th: Draw a zombie, fairy or ghost version of a mouse.
May 19th: Design a sportoutfit for a witch.
May 20th: Draw the opposite version of the latest tweet you send.
May 21st: Design the coat of arms for an army of ants.
May 22nd: What would a cowboy/girl do if cattle was stolen by aliens in a spaceship. Draw/paint it.

May 25th: Design a winter outfit for an octopus.
May 26th: Your pet or a family member of you now has superpowers. Draw it.
May 27th: Draw/paint/sculpt “silence”
May 28th: You are stranded in a wild jungle all by yourself, what do you do? Draw/paint it!
May 29th: Design a little animal that lives underground and eats fossils.
